Know who said what and when they said it. Know what others claim to be true and how to make it sound bad. Know your arguments and the arguments against you. Be able to think on your feet and ask questions you never asked before. Know how to critically listen and analyze information. Know how to do all this…and you will do well in the debates and life.

Today we got notes on sources and summarizing. We had brilliant actors portray people as sources and looked for ways to discredit them. Some were easy, some were difficult. Tomorrow, it’s on to preparing your debate brief.

Don’t believe anyone over thirty!
