The Journey of a Thousand Miles

September 27, 2012

Laptops, laptops everywhere…

…but not a one can link.

Use a flashdrive, save your work, email it home but DON’T STOP WRITING.  Check out the Power Point in my folder in the common file at CLHS.  It has great pointers for you to ensure your story gets an “A”.  This is a MAJOR grade.  Turn in a major story.  Include all the elements we have been studying for the last three weeks: character, conflict, showing v. telling, setting, plot graph (exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution).  I hope you took good notes.  You will find out soon if you did.

If you’re looking for a title try this title generator.  Even if it doesn’t create a great title for you, it’s fun to try.

For help with writing your short story try this.

Remember to turn in your short story on

We work in the Media Center again tomorrow.  Work hard, create a good story, reap the benefits of being a good writer.

Stay golden.
