The Secrets We Bury

September 17, 2012

Poe wove a tale as dark and sinister as the labyrinthine sadistic mind of the civil engineer who first imagined the suburb.

Fortunato stands alone in the depths.  The sinister jester…waiting…waiting…waiting in the dark…

We took notes on setting.  The setting is the canvas onto which you paint your story…the stage where your actors play their roles.

Read “Flowers for Algernon” for tomorrow.  A long, but unusual and fascinating story.  We’ll answer questions about it in class.

Put some flowers on Algernon’s grave for me.
